The Mackintosh Building - 3D Animation

This is a 3D model of the Mackintosh Glasgow School of Art building, as it and the surrounding Garnethill area would probably have looked when the second phase of construction was completed in 1909. This is a short extract from the animation I produced for the 'Window on the Mackintosh' exhibition at the art school, which opened in spring 2014. I chose a simplified visual style for these animations to complement Mackintosh's 1910 architectural drawings. Facsimiles of the drawings could be viewed in pull-out drawers beneath where the animation played on a continuous loop.
