This is a personal architectural 3D model study, drawing on examples of English Jacobean-period architecture – notably Carlton House, built between 1607 and 1612 in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in south-east London. Elements of this model were adapted to develop a speculative reconstruction of Berkshire House – a lost London building, built about 1626–27 for Thomas Howard, second son of the Earl of Suffolk and Master of the Horse to Charles I of England. The house was located next to St James's Palace, for which I produced a series of detailed reconstructions with Simon Thurley in 2019.
